Winter Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACDDEEFFEEGEHHIJKJ LIEK

Winter some call thee fairA
Yea flatter thy cold faceB
With vain compareA
Of all thy glittering waysC
And magic snowsD
With summer and the roseD
Thy phantom flowersE
And fretted traceriesE
Of crystal breathF
Thy frozen and fantastic art of deathF
With April as she showersE
The violet on the leasE
And bares her bosomG
In the blossoming treesE
And dances on her wayH
To laugh with MayH
Winter that hath no birdI
To sing thee and no bloomJ
To deck thy browK
To me thou art an empty haunted roomJ
Where once the musicL
Of the summer stirredI
And all the dancersE
Fallen on silence nowK
