Under Which King . . . ? Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDEEFG HHIIJJKKAALL

The fight I loved the good old fightA
Was clear as day 'twixt Might and RightA
Satrap and slave on either handB
Tiller and tyrant of the landB
One delved the earth the other trodC
The writhing worm the thundering godC
Lords of an earth they deemed their ownD
The tyrants laughed from throne to throneD
Scattered the gold and spilled the wineE
And deemed their foolish dust divineE
While 'neath their heel sublimely stroveF
The martyred hosts of Human LoveG
-
Such was the fight I dreamed of oldH
'Twixt Labour and the Lords of GoldH
I deemed all evil in the kingI
In Demos every lovely thingI
But now I see the battle setJ
Albeit the same old banners yetJ
With no clear issue to decideK
With Right and Might on either sideK
Yet small the rumour is of RightA
But the bared arms of Might and MightA
Brandish across the hate filled landsL
With blood alike on both their handsL
