Tiller and tyrant of the land | B |
One delved the earth the other trod | C |
The writhing worm the thundering god | C |
Lords of an earth they deemed their own | D |
The tyrants laughed from throne to throne | D |
Scattered the gold and spilled the wine | E |
And deemed their foolish dust divine | E |
While 'neath their heel sublimely strove | F |
The martyred hosts of Human Love | G |

Such was the fight I dreamed of old | H |
'Twixt Labour and the Lords of Gold | H |
I deemed all evil in the king | I |
In Demos every lovely thing | I |
But now I see the battle set | J |
Albeit the same old banners yet | J |

But the bared arms of Might and Might | A |
Brandish across the hate filled lands | L |
With blood alike on both their hands | L |
