To A Poet Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBACBBD EFGGFE

As one the secret lover of a queenA
Watches her move within the people's eyeB
Hears their poor chatter as she passes byB
And smiles to think of what his eyes have seenA
The little room where love did 'shut them in 'C
The fragrant couch whereon they twain did lieB
And rests his hand where on his heart doth dieB
A bruised daffodil of last night's sinD
-
So Poet as I read your rhyme once moreE
Here where a thousand eyes may read it tooF
I smile your own sweet secret smile at thoseG
Who deem the outer petals of the roseG
The rose's heart I who through grace of youF
Have known it for my own so long beforeE
