The Rose Has Left The Garden Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDECACBFGGHGHIJKJK

The Rose has left the gardenA
Here she but faintly livesB
Lives but for meC
Within this little urn of pot pourriD
Of all that wasE
And never more can beC
While her black berries hardenA
On the wind shaken treeC
Yet if my song a little fragrance givesB
'Tis not all lossF
Something I saveG
From the sweet graveG
Wherein she liesH
Something she gaveG
That never diesH
Something that may still liveI
In these my wordsJ
That draw from her their breathK
And fain would be her birdsJ
Still in her deathK
