The Rival Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFEGHIH JKLKGMNMMOPOQO

She failed me at the trystA
All the long afternoonB
The golden day went byC
Until the rising moonB
But as I waited onD
Turning my eyes aboutE
Aching for sight of herF
Until the stars came outE
Maybe 'twas but a dreamG
There close against my faceH
Beauty am I said oneI
I come to take her placeH
-
And then I understoodJ
Why all the waiting throughK
The green had seemed so greenL
The blue had seemed so blueK
The song of bird and streamG
Had been so passing sweetM
For all the coming notN
Of her forgetful feetM
And how my heart was trancedM
For all its lonely acheO
Gazing on mirrored rushesP
Sky deep in the lakeO
Said Beauty Me you loveQ
You love her for my sakeO
