The Broker Of Dreams Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBC ADAEE FGFGHHII JJKKK

Bring not your dreams to meA
Blown dust and vapour and the running streamB
Saying He too doth dreamB
Touched of the moonC
-
Nay wouldst thou vanish seeA
Thy darling phantomsD
Bring them then to meA
For my hard business though so soft it seemsE
Was ever dreams and dreamsE
-
And as some stern eyed broker smiles disdainF
Valuing at noughtG
Her bosom's locket with its little chainF
Love's all that Love hath broughtG
So must I weigh and measureH
Thy fading treasureH
Sighing to see it goI
As surely as the snowI
-
For I have such sad knowledge of all thingsJ
That shine like dew a little all that singsJ
And ends its song in weepingK
Such sowing and such reapingK
There is no cure but sleepingK
