Shadows Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBACC DEEDFF GHHGII

Shadows the only shadows that I knowA
Are happy shadows of the light of youB
The radiance immortal shining throughB
Your sea deep eyes up from the soul belowA
Your shadow like a rose's on the grassC
Where your feet passC
-
The shadow of the dimple in your chinD
The shadow of the lashes of your eyesE
As on your cheek soft as a moth it liesE
And as a church I softly enter inD
The solemn twilight of your mighty hairF
Down falling thereF
-
These are Love's shadows Love knows none but theseG
Shadows that are the very soul of lightH
As morning and the morning blossom brightH
Or jewelled shadows of moon haunted seasG
The darkest shadows in this world of oursI
Are made of flowersI
