Not Sour Grapes Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBACDDC EFFECDDC GHHGCDDC

I'm not sorry I am older love are youA
Over all youth's fuss and flurryB
All its everlasting hurryB
All its solemn self importance and to doA
Perhaps we missed the highest reaches of high artC
Love we missed not and the laughterD
Seeing both before and afterD
Life was such a serious business at the startC
-
We've lost nothing worth the keeping do you thinkE
You are just as slim and elfishF
And I've grown a world less selfishF
We look back on life together and we winkE
Over all those old misgivings of the heartC
Growing pains of love and loverD
Life's fun begins its fevers overD
Life was such a serious business at the startC
-
Garners full life's grain and chaff we have siftedG
Youth went by in idle tastingH
Now we drink the cup unhastingH
Spill not a drop brimful and high upliftedG
And we watch now calm and fearless the years departC
Knowing nothing can now severD
Two that life made one foreverD
Life was such a serious business at the startC
