Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEDE

I meant to do my work to dayA
But a brown bird sang in the apple treeB
And a butterfly flitted across the fieldC
And all the leaves were calling meB
-
And the wind went sighing over the landD
Tossing the grasses to and froE
And a rainbow held out its shining handD
So what could I do but laugh and goE
