Good-night Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCBC DEDE FGGG G

After The Norwegian Of Rosencrantz JohnsenA
-
Midnight and through the blind the moonlight stealingB
On silver feet across the sleeping roomC
Ah moonlight what is this thou art revealingB
Her breast a great sweet lily in the gloomC
-
It is their bed white little isle of blissD
In the dark wilderness of midnight seaE
Hush 'tis their hearts still beating from the kissD
The warm dark kiss that only night may seeE
-
Their cheeks still burn they close and nestle yetF
Ere with faint breath they falter out good nightG
Her hand in his upon the coverletG
Lies in the silver pathway of the lightG
