Country Largesse Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDBAEC FGGFHIJJHHIKLLK MCMCMNM NCOOC

I bring a message from the streamA
To fan the burning cheeks of townB
From morning's towerC
Of pearl and roseD
I bring this cup of crystal downB
With brimming dews agleamA
And from my lady's garden closeE
I bring this flowerC
-
O walk with me ye jaded browsF
And I will sing the song I foundG
Making a lonely rippling soundG
Under the boughsF
The tinkle of the brook is thereH
And cow bells wandering through the fernI
And silver callsJ
From waterfallsJ
And echoes floating through the airH
From happiness I know not whereH
And hum and drone where'er I turnI
Of little lives that buzz and dieK
And sudden lucent melodiesL
Like hidden strings among the treesL
Roofing the summer skyK
-
The soft breath of the briar I bringM
And wafted scents of mint and cloverC
Rain distilled balms the hill winds flingM
Sweet thoughted as a loverC
Incense from lilied urns a swayingM
And the green smell of grassN
Where men are hayingM
-
As through the streets I passN
With their shrill clatterC
This largesse from the hills and streamsO
This quietude of flowers and dreamsO
Round me I scatterC
