I found and then I lost the place | A |
So nothing but her face I know | B |
And her soft name writ fair below | B |

And 'twas so soft a name she bore | G |

Sometimes I think the book was Youth | H |
And the dead man that wrote it I | I |
The face was Beauty the name Truth | H |
And thus with an unseeing eye | I |
I pass the long sought image by | I |
