Euthanasia Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDEEFFGGHH

Wouldst see blithe looks fresh cheeks beguileA
Age wouldst see December smileA
Wouldst see nests of new roses growB
In a bed of reverend snowB
Warm thoughts free spirits flatteringC
Winter's self into a springC
In sum wouldst see a man that canD
Live to be old and still a manD
Whose latest and most leaden hoursE
Fall with soft wings stuck with soft flowersE
And when life's sweet fable endsF
Soul and body part like friendsF
No quarrels murmurs no delayG
A kiss a sigh and so awayG
This rare one reader wouldst thou seeH
Hark hither and thyself be heH
