The Bridge Has Fallen Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEDE FGHG

I stand there staring in horror as I watchA
the colossal mighty bridge that has managed to withstand all that natureB
has thrown at her begins to bend into an archC
and instead of a bridge it resembles some alien creatureB
-
Its usually strong ligaments that suspend it begin to thin before my very eyesD
The connective tissue morph into measly strings that easily breakE
And then just like that I hear the bridge's stony criesD
although it seems as though the stones that it was built from were nothing but fakeE
-
The once mighty colossal bridge has collapsedF
The bridge that stretched from New York to SeoulG
No actual person was hurt though RelaxH
Because this bridge was just the bridge to my once happy soulG
