Maiden Speech Of The Aeolian Harp Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBCCDDEBFFGGHHIEAAJ KJK

Soft and softlier hold me friendsA
Thanks if your genial careB
Unbind and give me to the airB
Keep your lips or finger tipsC
For flute or spinet's dancing chipsC
I await a tenderer touchD
I ask more or not so muchD
Give me to the atmosphereE
Where is the wind my brother whereB
Lift the sash lay me withinF
Lend me your ears and I beginF
For gentle harp to gentle heartsG
The secret of the world impartsG
And not to day and not to morrowH
Can drain its wealth of hope and sorrowH
But day by day to loving earI
Unlocks new sense and loftier cheerE
I've come to live with you sweet friendsA
This home my minstrel journeyings endsA
Many and subtle are my laysJ
The latest better than the firstK
For I can mend the happiest daysJ
And charm the anguish of the worstK
