Heroism Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAAABBAAAA

Ruby wine is drunk by knavesA
Sugar spends to fatten slavesA
Rose and vine leaf deck buffoonsA
Thunder clouds are Jove's festoonsA
Drooping oft in wreaths of dreadB
Lightning knotted round his headB
The hero is not fed on sweetsA
Daily his own heart he eatsA
Chambers of the great are jailsA
And head winds right for royal sailsA
