Fragments On Nature And Life - Transition Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDCC CCCEE CFGCCG AA

See yonder leafless trees against the skyA
How they diffuse themselves into the airB
And ever subdividing separateC
Limbs into branches branches into twigsD
As if they loved the element and hastedC
To dissipate their being into itC

-
Parks and ponds are good by dayC
I do not delightC
In black acres of the nightC
Nor my unseasoned step disturbsE
The sleeps of trees or dreams of herbsE
-
-
-
In Walden wood the chickadeeC
Runs round the pine and maple treeF
Intent on insect slaughterG
O tufted entomologistC
Devour as many as you listC
Then drink in Walden waterG
-
-
-
The low December vault in June be lifted highA
And largest clouds be flakes of down in that enormous skyA
