The Sisters Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFEG HIJK

Look how the same possibilitiesA
unfold in their opposite demeanorsB
as though one saw different agesC
passing through two identical roomsD
-
Each thinks that she props up the otherE
while resting wearily on her supportF
and they can't make use of one anotherE
for they cause blood to rest on bloodG
-
when as in the former times they softly touchH
and try along the tree lined walksI
to feel themselves conducted and to leadJ
ah the ways they go are not the sameK
