Falling Stars Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJ K

Do you remember still the falling starsA
that like swift horses through the heavens racedB
and suddenly leaped across the hurdlesC
of our wishes do you recall And weD
did make so many For there were countless numbersE
of stars each time we looked above we wereF
astounded by the swiftness of their daring playG
while in our hearts we felt safe and secureH
watching these brilliant bodies disintegrateI
knowing somehow we had survived their fallJ
