Eve Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD ECEF GHC IJK

Simply she stands at the cathedral sA
great ascent close to the rose windowB
with the apple in the apple poseC
guiltless guilty once and for allD
-
of the growing she gave birth toE
since form the circle of eternitiesC
loving she went forth top struggle throughE
her way throughout the earth like a young yearF
-
Ah gladly yet a little in that landG
Would she have lingered heeding the harmonyH
And understanding of the animalsC
-
But since she found the man determinedI
She went with him aspiring after deathJ
And she had as yet hardly known GodK
