Child In Red Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDE FGHI JKLM NACO AAPQ

Sometimes she walks through the village in herA
little red dressB
all absorbed in restraining herselfC
and yet despite herself she seems to moveD
according to the rhythm of her life to comeE
-
She runs a bit hesitates stopsF
half turns aroundG
and all while dreaming shakes her headH
for or againstI
-
Then she dances a few stepsJ
that she invents and forgetsK
no doubt finding out that lifeL
moves on too fastM
-
It's not so much that she steps outN
of the small body enclosing herA
but that all she carries in herselfC
frolics and fermentsO
-
It's this dress that she'll rememberA
later in a sweet surrenderA
when her whole life is full of risksP
the little red dress will always seem rightQ
