Waiting Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAC DEFG HIJK LKME

The song I came to singA
remains unsung to this dayB
I have spent my days in stringingA
and in unstringing my instrumentC
-
The time has not come trueD
the words have not been rightly setE
only there is the agonyF
of wishing in my heartG
-
I have not seen his faceH
nor have I listened to his voiceI
only I have heard his gentle footstepsJ
from the road before my houseK
-
But the lamp has not been litL
and I cannot ask him into my houseK
I live in the hope of meeting with himM
but this meeting is not yetE

Hitika sharma : This poem is very confusing It is saying that he or he wanted to saying the song but he cannot which is very troubling and the rhyming pattern is also not able to understand if there is he also used very less poetic devices
Hitakshi sharma : I don't know how this poem works it doesn't have a rhyming pattern according to me there are very less of the poetic devices used in it and I not get a proper explanation for it
