Ungrateful Sorrow Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGH IJKGC LMNLO P QRQ S TPUB VWX

At dawn shey departedA
My mind tried to console meB
' Everything is Maya'C
Angrily I repliedD
'Here's this sewing box on the tableE
that flower pot on the terraceF
this monogrammed hand fan on the bedG
all these are real 'H
-
My mind said 'Yet think again '-
I rejoined ' You better stopI
Look at this storybookJ
the hairpin halfway amongst its leavesK
signaling the rest is unreadG
if all these things are 'Maya'C
then why should 'shey' be more unreal '-
-
My mind becomes silentL
A friend arrived and saysM
'That which is good is realN
it is never non existentL
entire world preserves and cherishes it its chestO
like a precious jewel in a necklace '-
-
I replied in anger 'How do you knowP
Is a body not good Where did that body go '-
-
Like a small boy in a rage hitting his motherQ
I began to strike at everything in this worldR
that gave me shelterQ
And I screamed ' The world is treacherous '-
-
Suddenly I was startledS
It seemed like someone admonished me ' You ungrateful '-
-
I looked at the crescent moonT
hidden behind the tamarisk tree outside my windowP
As if the dear departed one is smilingU
and playing hide and seek with meB
-
From the depth of darkness punctuated by scattered starsV
came a rebuke 'when I let you grasp me you call it an deceptionW
and yet when I remain concealedX
why do you hold on to your faith in me with such conviction '-
