The Boat Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABC DE FG HIJK

I must launch out my boatA
The languid hours pass by on theB
shore Alas for meC
-
The spring has done its flowering and taken leaveD
And now with the burden of faded futile flowers I wait and lingerE
-
The waves have become clamorous and upon the bank in the shady laneF
the yellow leaves flutter and fallG
-
What emptiness do you gaze uponH
Do you not feel a thrill passing through the airI
with the notes of the far away songJ
floating from the other shoreK
