On The Nature Of Love Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCCDEFGHIJKLM

The night is black and the forest has no endA
a million people thread it in a million waysB
We have trysts to keep in the darkness but whereC
or with whom of that we are unawareC
But we have this faith that a lifetime's blissD
will appear any minute with a smile upon its lipsE
Scents touches sounds snatches of songsF
brush us pass us give us delightful shocksG
Then peradventure there's a flash of lightningH
whomever I see that instant I fall in love withI
I call that person and cry This life is blestJ
for your sake such miles have I traversed 'K
All those others who came close and moved offL
in the darkness I don't know if they exist or notM
