Last Curtain Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFG HIJKLM NOPQRS

I know that the day will comeA
when my sight of this earth shall be lostB
and life will take its leave in silenceC
drawing the last curtain over my eyesD
-
Yet stars will watch at nightE
and morning rise as beforeF
and hours heave like sea waves casting up pleasures and painsG
-
When I think of this end of my momentsH
the barrier of the moments breaksI
and I see by the light of deathJ
thy world with its careless treasuresK
Rare is its lowliest seatL
rare is its meanest of livesM
-
Things that I longed for in vainN
and things that I gotO
let them passP
Let me but truly possessQ
the things that I ever spurnedR
and overlookedS
