Landslide came into my life without noticeA
I myself am lost not in moorB
not in cloudland not in fog not in hazeC
not in markets but within myD
own polluted sketchesE
Excerpts from my poet friend Nabin Chitrakar s poetry Formless CanvasA
-
In the circle of timeF
changing continuously in every secondsG
is the poetryH
-
The poet s no conscious ofI
When How WhereJ
crop up as if shakenK
all at once by the earthquakeL
the mind stroke to his poetry in a secondM
-
The spirit of the poetry encounteredN
the blood corpuscle of half of his bodyH
ceased to streaming bending into fragilityH
The remaining other halfO
gushed in its veins naturallyH
-
Then the posture of his bodyH
half immovable andM
other half movableP
being altered instantly in its bodyH
confronted the torture of no limitQ
-
Neither my mind sensedR
Nor your mind aware of itS
-
But it looked baffledT
in the tears ofI
illimitable and immeasurableP
hazy in its eyesU
In the mind of the poetryH
the inert part of its bodyH
obstructed the motionK
the sensed part of itS
forced to resume its motionK
the result of which yieldedV
the awful agony and anguishW
that savoured syrupy in its tongueX
chewed up the immovableP
to restore its ability of moving againY
in very efforts of the poetQ
-
I m too confidentZ
Like you doA2
-
The poet will indeed hurlB2
the sense of immovabilityA2
caught in his livingC2
