Bad Days Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCA DEDF GHIJ KLMN JJLO

A smiling moon is a hearts desireA
But eclipses are what make it worthB
O forlorn night why do you despairC
Your deepest sorrow is your prettiest attireA
-
A wintery apple is an eye's appealD
But fiery sun is what makes it ripeE
O motherly tree why don't you revealD
Your greatest hatred is worth your lifeF
-
Life is but a bush of rosesG
The thorns are what make it specialH
The one who is pricked by theseI
Knows what fragrance the rose possessesJ
-
Bad days come and go like windK
Our will decides how strong they areL
A tree is thrown by thousand stormsM
But look how they regrow so strongN
-
We don't grow by our agesJ
Our building blocks are the damagesJ
Failures don't define what we areL
They just calculate the distance to successO
