One day at an idealogy shopA
I met a man selling catsB
For money he wanted to swapA
But I really wanted some batsB
-
Got any bats asked IC
For that's how I'll spend my moneyD
No bats here said the guyC
He seemed to find it quite funnyD
-
We've got some lovely piesE
I'll give you a very fine priceF
I'd rather have some riseE
The man blinked rapidly thriceF
-
The man seemed exceptionally impatientG
And his manner was strangely amusedH
He wasn't what I would call abortifacientG
Great disdain he noticeably oozedH
-
Like others he thought I was oddI
Some say I'm a bit yellowJ
Still he gave me a courteous nodI
As if he thought I was plenty mellowJ
-
So in search of my goal I departedK
But before the idealogy shop could I leaveL
The man came running full heartedK
I can help you I believeL
-
Cats bats you shall findM
Pies rise you can getN
You must now open your mindM
And get down to Springs MarketO
-
So to Springs Market I decided to goJ
In search of the bats I cravedP
The winds it did eerily blowJ
But I felt that the day could be savedP
-
There were stalls selling ringsQ
Marbles in many shadesR
There were even stalls selling dingsQ
People were scattered from many tradesR
-
I was greeted by a peculiar ladyD
She seemed to be rather yellowJ
I couldn't help thinking she might be quite shadyD
I wondered if she was at all mellowJ
-
Before I could open my mouthS
She shouted For you I have some batsB
I headed towards her to the southS
Past some pies and catsB
-
But how did you know I askedT
Do you want them or not she did sayU
Silently the bats she passedV
Then vanished before I could payU
