Whose alligator is that I think I knowA
Its owner is quite angry thoughA
He was cross like a dark potatoA
I watch him pace I cry helloA

He gives his alligator a shakeB
And screams I've made a bad mistakeB
The only other sound's the breakB
Of distant waves and birds awakeB
-
The alligator is crazed scary and deepC
But he has promises to keepC
Tormented with nightmares he never sleepsD
Revenge is a promise a man should keepC

He rises from his cursed bedE
With thoughts of violence in his headE
A flash of rage and he sees redE
Without a pause I turned and fledE
