Astrophel And Stella - Sonnet Xxxix Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABABABCDDDEE

Come Sleepe O Sleepe the certaine knot of peaceA
The baiting place of wit the balme of woeB
The poor mans wealth the prisoners releaseA
Th' indifferent iudge betweene the high and lowB
With shield of proofe shield me from out the preaseA
Of those fierce darts Despaire at me doth throwB
O make in me those ciuil wars to ceaseA
I will good tribute pay if thou do soB
Take thou of me smooth pillowes sweetest bedC
A chamber deafe of noise and blind of lightD
A rosie garland and a weary hedD
And if these things as being thine in rightD
Moue not thy heauy grace thou shalt in meE
Liuelier then else where Stellaes image seeE
