Astrophel And Stella - Sonnet Xli Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAAAAAAABABAAA

Hauing this day my horse my hand my launceA
Guided so well that I obtain'd the prizeA
Both by the iudgement of the English eyesA
And of some sent from that sweet enemy FraunceA
Horsemen my skill in horsemanship aduaunceA
Towne folkes my strength a daintier iudge appliesA
His praise to sleight which from good vse doth riseA
Some luckie wits impute it but to chanceA
Others because of both sides I doe takeB
My blood from them who did excell in thisA
Thinke Nature me a man at armes did makeB
How farre they shot awrie The true cause isA
Stella lookt on and from her heau'nly faceA
Sent forth the beames which made so faire my raceA
