Astrophel And Stella - Sonnet Xcvii Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBACDCDED

Dian that faine would cheare her friend the NightA
Shewes her oft at the full her fairest faceB
Bringing with her those starry Nymphs whose chaceB
From heau'nly standing hits each mortall wightA
But ah poore Night in loue with Phoebus lightA
And endlesly dispairing of his graceB
Her selfe to shewe no other ioy hath placeB
Sylent and sad in mourning weedes doth dightA
Euen so alas a lady Dians peereC
With choise delights and rarest companyD
Would faine driue cloudes from out my heauy cheereC
But wo is me though Ioy her selfe were sheD
Shee could not shew my blind braine waies of ioyE
While I despaire my sunnes sight to enioyD
