Astrophel And Stella - Sonnet Lxxxvii Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABBABACCDEED

When I was forst from Stella euer deereA
Stella food of my thoughts hart of my hartB
Stella whose eyes make all my tempests cleereA
By Stellas lawes of duetie to departB
Alas I found that she with me did smartB
I saw that teares did in her eyes appeareA
I sawe that sighes her sweetest lips did partB
And her sad words my sadded sense did heareA
For me I wept to see pearles scatter'd soC
I sigh'd her sighes and wailed for her woC
Yet swam in ioy such loue in her was seeneD
Thus while th' effect most bitter was to meE
And nothing then the cause more sweet could beE
I had bene vext if vext I had not beeneD
