I am in a great and deserted desert,
Bare, with no sign of hope.
The light is fading away,
But the pressure is extremely increasing.
The weight of the world on my shoulder.
Am I not too young for this?
The tears from my eye intensifies the pain in my heart.
How can I be so strong but weak at the same time?
Am heading forward but moving backwards.
My strength is fading but their expectations are increasing.
Why can't I just let go?
You are the rock, how can you break? So they ask.
How does a thousand year old mountain just explode into flames?
I wish they could understand.
I wish I could convince myself they would.
