Hallowed be your name Queen of my worldA
Happy were the days destiny displayedB
I looked up and behold I beheldB
A charming creature the definition of beautyB
-
The soles of my soul brought me closeC
So close to the iron gate of your gardenD
And within it planted I the seed of my loveE
Your bosom nurtured it to growF
-
The words of your mouth a healing to the soulG
So succulent are your lipsH
And soft are the carvings of your chestB
Your presence illuminates my worldB
-
I call you Diane and you stood your identityB
An emblem of ChastityB
That which once brought us togetherI
Today puts asunderI
-
Forever your name is scribbled on my lipsH
And your perfume an indelible stain on my regaliaJ
That you're gone I wished was a dreamK
But wishes they say are not horsesL
-
I only find consolation in your consoling wordsM
That man proposes but God disposesN

Poet's note: I dedicate this poem to the very first love of my life Diana. Though things didn't turn out as expected, our souls are still glued. We came into terms that whatever is not meant to be , no matter the amount of care and love given, will never be. The destiny that once brought us together has today separated us. Though we didn't like it wish it that way, but the deed has been done.
