To The Mind Of Man Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBCDEECCCFG CCGCH

Thou living light that in thy rainbow huesA
Clothest this naked world and over SeaB
And Earth and air and all the shapes that beB
In peopled darkness of this wondrous worldC
The Spirit of thy glory dost diffuseD
truth thou Vital FlameE
Mysterious thought that in this mortal frameE
Of things with unextinguished lustre burnestC
Now pale and faint now high to Heaven upcurledC
That eer as thou dost languish still returnestC
And everF
Before the before the PyramidsG
-
So soon as from the Earth formless and rudeC
One living step had chased drear SolitudeC
Thou wert Thought thy brightness charmed the lidsG
Of the vast snake Eternity who keptC
The tree of good and evilH
