Fragment: To A Friend Released From Prison Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCCDDEE

For me my friend if not that tears did trembleA
In my faint eyes and that my heart beat fastB
With feelings which make rapture pain resembleA
Yet from thy voice that falsehood starts aghastB
I thank thee let the tyrant keepC
His chains and tears yea let him weepC
With rage to see thee freshly risenD
Like strength from slumber from the prisonD
In which he vainly hoped the soul to bindE
Which on the chains must prey that fetter humankindE
