We both have our hands to giveA
Take mine I shall lead you afarB
-
I have lived several times my face hasw changedC
With every threshold I have crossed and every hand clasped Familial springtime was rebornD
Keeping for itself and for me its perishable snowE
Death and the betrothedC
The future with five fingers clenched and letting goE
-
My age always gave meF
New reasons for living through othersG
For having the blood of man other's heart in mineH
-
Oh the lucid fellow I was and that I amI
Before the pallor of frail blind girlsJ
Lovelier than the delicate worn moon so fairK
By the reflection of life's waysL
A trail of moss anf treesM
Of mist and morning dewC
Of the young body which does not rise aloneN
To its place on earthO
Wind cold and rain cradle itC
Summer makes a man of itC
-
Presesence is my virtue in each visible handC
Only death is solitudeC
From delight to fury from fury to clarityF
I make myself whole through all beingsP
Through all weather on the earth and in the cloudsQ
Through the passing seasons I am youngR
And strong for having livedC
I am young my blood rises over my ruinsS
-
We have our hands to entwine Nothing can ever seduce betterT
Tahn our bonding to each other a forestC
Returning earth to sky and the sky to nightC
-
To the night which prepares an unending dayC
