There were only a few of themA
In all the earthB
Each one thought he was aloneC
They sang they were rightD
To singE
But they sang the way you sack a cityF
The way you kill yourselfG
-
Frayed moist nightD
Shall we endure youH
LongerI
Shall we not shakeJ
Your cloacal evidenceK
We shall not wait for a morningE
Made to measureI
We wanted to see in other people's eyesL
Their nights of love exhaustedM
They dream only of dyingE
Their lovely flesh forgottenN
Bees caught in their honeyF
They are ignorant of lifeO
And we suffer everywhereP
Red roofs dissolve under the tongueQ
Dog days in the full bedsR
Come empty your sacks of fresh bloodM
There is still a shadow hereS
-
A shred of imbecile thereP
In the wind their masks their cast offsT
In lead their traps their chainsU
And their prudent blind men's gesturesV
There is fire under rocksW
If you put out the fireI
Be careful we haveX
Despite the night it breedsY
More strength than the bellyF
Of your wives and sistersV
And we will reproduceZ
Without them but by ax strokesA2
In your prisonsB2
-
Torrents of stone labors of foamC2
Where eyes float without rancorI
Just eyes without hopeD2
That know youH
And that you should have put outE2
Rather than ignoreF2
-
With a safety pin quicker than your gibbetsB2
We shall take our booty where we want it to beF
