When Labouring To Break Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFEGHI JKLMNFOPPQR

Perhaps one is in prisonA
fidgeting as timeB
draws to a closeC
a scrap of house tunicD
between the fingersE
or when labouring to breakF
cuticles on swollen fingersE
pressing both hands against earsG
that refuse to hear the stop soundH
of rushing bloodI
-
Then again in the last hour beforeJ
end time before dawn's arrival andK
floodlit sky finds youL
knuckles clasping bars pitiless bayonet likeM
with eyes swishing truncheons at all theN
getaway air your lungs will never takeF
wheezing in growing fear to the sound of footstepsO
clank of keys and gallow's humour as they prepareP
to Skuttle your short life wall up clouds of theirP
own pestilence nakedly mask each firing squadQ
gathering for its fighting chanceR
