The Woodsman Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDE FGHIJK LIIMGNOPQ

Barely annoying the woodsA
his cabin like our woodpileB
home now for chipmunks and birdsC
isolated by the lily padsD
he eschewed all comfortE
-
The view barely cognizantF
the prospect of the Massasauga rattlerG
and an occasional broken tinH
sharp at the edgesI
was like water's driftJ
audible not yet seenK
-
Toying with the coveL
past island jettiesI
blueberry grovesI
inside little giant's tombM
this man became ingratiated with lake treasureG
his clearing a triumphant blastN
He affixed his markO
blazoning human habitationP
on a lonely spotQ
