Rhyme Scheme: A BCADEFGH IJKLM NIOPDLDQRS TUVWVXYZA2B

She gallops night by night through lovers' brainsA
-
I see grindstones in the skyB
pots of tulips overturnedC
big tug of the reinsA
and chestnut hairD
is seen before the windowpaneE
with chance more chance lost toF
frost or hungry beesG
this still autumn eveH
-
DarlingI
walls that division usJ
are envelopes of passionK
bridging trust seal itL
lest it rustM
-
Skeletal scrapingsN
make for poor beddingI
this poor rhinoceros of liesO
the devil gliding about so disguisedP
on his tentacle and toenail chairD
inviting lair or is itL
hiccup and bandaged prayerD
yet stalwart wall is a rosary beadQ
thick ale and bread to hungry snailR
or better lips to Romeo's blushing pilgrimsS
-
Then sudden I'm oldT
on a bench counting starsU
where each is a radiant patch of energyV
leased to the darkW
an emblem burst mailed from eternityV
spark to cigaret's flameX
to burn these little sunsY
as cupid tails your bright eye scarlet lipZ
fine foot straight legA2
and quivering thighB
