Many devils are in woods in waters in wilderness and in darkA
pooly places ready to hurt people some are also in thickB
black clouds Martin LutherC
-
Masaccio to the Florentine Renaissance but a naughtD
every man the same St Francis the same as a Jack the RipperC
their rosy surfaces filledE
-
Like an Old Testament curseF
he is loosed upon the earthG
Ecking out his pound of fleshH
delivering misery in sordidness he parboils the landI
-
A modern day Tantalus up to his throatJ
in burning liesK
his death is to live in the contemporary senseL
the thousand cutsM
to bury the skies as a dread CaiaphasM
into the contradiction the snares of his beingN
-
Measure for measureC
his blond mane pale scarfO
are hallmarks of the doomed Dutchman searching out theP
CoromandelQ
like Cain stumbling upon existenceM
he hearkens back to the original MurdererC
has sold his inheritance for a pittanceM
and by doing so has ridiculed the human conditionR
with his life charged obscenityS
his blond beast scowl curdled about respectability's neckT
his fang tussled face a menacing white cigaretteU
the soul imprisoned jailer to his teeth breath and brainV
