Some lives have themesA
Goldfish that stubbornly dieB
compatability only with distant loversC
flowers but no sweet breadsD
that wilt to the touchE
-
Waiting Charcoal grey catF
agreeably on a green linoleum tableG
with light basking inH
a tad playfulG
paws upI
classic boxer stanceJ
but no one noticesK
Others oblique in their transparencyL
are unmindful of even the empty closetM
and greeting cards that smile helloN
-
In the darkO
this room shimmers belowN
life raft statusP
chairs are buoysQ
bobbing under wavesR
of congealed frightS
In the morningT
the first pigeonsU
rifle over rooftopsV
mad flutterings like your eyesW
stabbing gables looking curiouslyL
like your heartX
A tree bandaged in woodY
manages a feeble handshakeZ
with sky cajoling winterA2
-
But it is the moonB2
large and eerieL
a golden earringT
mindful of a Chinese pandaC2
that plies its tradeD2
-
Mandarin like a snoutE2
so cloud entrenchedF2
soft night barely resemblesG2
willow and bamboo shootsH2
the universe left to feed herA2
-
Nuggets or nougatsH2
Should I call you opaqueZ
use coke bottle glass as aC2
symbol of light headedness transparencyH2
Keen visionI2
Could it be more is known of outer spaceH2
than your mindJ2
or that leavesH2
frosted with coldK2
are conducting interviewsH2
maliciously within the park foldK2
-
Rather and this is so circumspectL2
no one owes anyoneI2
in the brisk coinage and tradeD2
that breeds human wasteM2
-
So drivel passes as conversationI2
a handshake for real investmentN2
A lot in common the wrong dreamsH2
Pretty awareness the desolate penniesH2
stumble from our handsH2
-
More substance reallyH2
in the rustle of a silk dressH2
or static electricityH2
that pops over orb sized breastsH2
Hide and seekO2
peek a booP2
you don't need meH2
I don't need youP2
