The snow is wet like your eyes at parting | G |
cold as the promise of a winter dawn | H |
wet again as city streets | I |
I must tread to make a living | G |
the flask of wine | J |
pressed to my lips | K |

On the winter landscape all | L |
I see is the ghost white of sheets | I |
our sheets wrapped to keep breath warm | M |
the log cannisters of our bed | N |
a heady raft upon which to travel | O |
to burn up an ocean of delight | P |
