Sideway Look Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBCDEF GHIGJK LIMNOP

It's snowing and all I can think ofA
are leaves to wrap your memoryB
leaves pungent as teaB
green curls aliveC
with the promise of fireD
shutes like fingersE
to play a tap on your skinF
-
The snow is wet like your eyes at partingG
cold as the promise of a winter dawnH
wet again as city streetsI
I must tread to make a livingG
the flask of wineJ
pressed to my lipsK
-
On the winter landscape allL
I see is the ghost white of sheetsI
our sheets wrapped to keep breath warmM
the log cannisters of our bedN
a heady raft upon which to travelO
to burn up an ocean of delightP
