Primavera Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDAEFGH EIJKLCEMNO

A poem is perishable andA
like itB
so much of life is spentC
in intervalsD
the jarring secondA
regaining consciousnessE
a post mortem flickF
of the lank equestrian eyelidG
that signals morning's first crepuscular moveH
-
a little salad consciousnessE
about the tumescent roomI
with the sentient purr of a catJ
her musky oilsK
a green verdureL
lapping primordial scentC
to engross a little readinessE
as the day progressesM
to its Oedipal stageN
and arrested developmentO
