Rhyme Scheme: ABCDE FCFGDHIJK LBCMNOPQ RRSTURVRRWRX

A
The moon has a larderB
and a kitchenC
wears a nightcapD
as Father in the Night Before ChristmasE
-
-
The moon hoards pistachiosF
marzipanC
commands the shadowsF
is mustachioedG
sleeps in a sloopD
at least when I lookH
like the boatI
owl and pussycatJ
took to seaK
-
-
And on country nightsL
in high summerB
fishing nets seem drawnC
about his faceM
reveal ribbons of lightN
eerie panhandlers grubbing quartersO
a sinister sailor with a sackP
on a pitch black wharfQ
-
-
Between cloudsR
leafy barquesR
the hinge reflected on theS
thick ashen doorT
the moon will pirateU
your sensesR
set them adriftV
amidst twilight islandsR
in the mind's Outer HebridesR
where mystery is kingW
and the hem of robe you kissR
is an envelope pilferedX
