Eyeshine Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFGHH GIJKLMN GGOPQ RGGMMSMMG

I remember the world like a pictureA
The habitat of trees and sense impressionsB
the cover of leaves as fall spurred its wayC
thru corridors of plasma forest sarsen stoneD
-
Most of all I saw illuminated clearlyE
the brash self poke of logic that cameF
massively when sunlight stirred liltedG
its early head erasing the world thruH
sand crusts of colourH
-
The cabin floor a cold dawn infinityG
was a chilblain on frosty morning shadowsI
the old cupboards staring like flowersJ
through a break in the leavesK
watched till the latches hinges were worldsL
in frozen power dark rust as thoughtsM
meandering like ageN
-
The stamped down clay the well worn earthen crustG
that met the door on opening showedG
the erring calender all its interminableO
days that waited like madmen to remind one of oceanicP
timeQ
-
And on wakening the careless passageR
of life across speckled windows saw a terrain of lightG
tiny works in agility the forestG
looming bright as meridiansM
off ladders bristling with homuncular formsM
Door of caring the gentle trailS
left as a universe to announceM
the brittle thrust and restive evesM
of daytime shadowG
