inlets off a winding cataractI
moss loam thick with black soilJ
a future arboreal dreamK
inching over rock darling creviceL
for northern orchid then kissM
of red death the hybrid trilliumK
more sinister cousinD
jack in the pulpitA
for Indian foragersM

poked thru the forest with stealthN
petroglyphic lava bedsM
a cougar pouncingO
runic carvings the cold in theP
Giant's stone nostrils billowingO
off the lake like a presenceM
